  • Do Not be Afraid to Use Creative Typography. Using creative typography will help your brochure to stand out from the rest. Be sure to use you choose a font that will grab your audience’s attention. Remember, all good things should be used in moderation. Don’t go overboard with your chosen typography.
  • Do Not Forget Pictures. A brochure without pictures is exceptionally boring. Be sure to use pictures to help show, not just tell, your message. It is a good idea to use your own images when possible, or use stock images that no one else is using. This will help your brochure to stand out and truly look unique.
  • Do Not Try to Say It All.  Remember you have limited space to get your message across. Trying to say too much can actually hurt your messaging. Think about the product, service, or agenda that your brochure is designed for and focus on how your message can inform, or solve a problem for the intended audience.
